I am a corporate professional in motorsport, but an artist at heart. I work standard hours, go to the gym after work, and often have weekend plans, so I’m not home very often during the week. I’m a very social and friendly person, but by the time I get home, I’m usually out of energy, so having a peaceful home is very important to me. I’m looking for someone open minded, non-judgmental, and truly comfortable with the idea of “to each their own.” I will never get into your business, and you are expected not to get into mine. Household: * I have four sweet and loving, vaccinated indoor cats, with automatic feeder, automatic litter system, and water fountain to maintain a clean environment. * You are required to be mindful of toxic materials to cats. Cats can be killed by lilies & several other plants, paracetamol, rat & insect poison, onion & garlic, chocolate & caffeine, alcohol, and cleaning products that have not been wiped off surfaces. * 2-3 Professional cleaners attend every Friday for two hours; they can clean your room and bathroom for 30 mins at no additional cost, if you prefer. * This is a pro-Palestinian, boycott household, and I follow BDS guidelines at home. Please check the BDS website before bringing certain products into the house. Brands such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Nestlé are not welcome in this home. (If you need me to explain why boycotting is important, we will not be a good match.) Shared responsibilities & courtesy: * Calm, respectful, drama free home environment * Each person is responsible for cleaning up after themselves in shared areas * Dishes should be washed or placed in the dishwasher after cooking * Laundry once done should be removed from the washing machine and put away * Personal trash should be taken out regularly * Food shelf life should be taken into consideration, do not keep spoiled food in the fridge * As the kitchen is open plan, using the extractor fan when cooking fragrant food and leaving a window open is required * Cleanliness and respect for shared spaces are very important * If something gets damaged or broken, the person responsible should repair it, replace it or pay for it House guidelines: * On Sat-Wed, we will keep music and TV/projector volume low after 10:00 PM, as we both have work the next day * During the daytime, we can take turns playing music or a podcast out loud if it’s something we both enjoy, or we can create a shared playlist together. Otherwise, headphones are preferred. * Smoking is allowed on the rooftop terrace, but not inside the apartment or bedrooms due to the carpeting and to avoid issues with the landlord * I vape occasionally, you may do so too, but ICOS is strictly prohibited as the smell catches in carpeting Social dynamic: * Social weekends with occasional guests hosted in the living room or terrace * We can create a shared weekend hosting schedule by alternating Thursday evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays, giving each of us uninterrupted time to host friends, with a Saturday cut off at 10:00 PM Rent: * 3,300SAR monthly. * 3months advance required. * Apartment available till 31 Dec 2026, may or may not renew.
